“Compassion is about finding the solution to a problem before it gets any worse.” – Chris McDougall
What are the problems facing Westman youth that other people are not addressing? That’s where we serve. This year at the Gala of Hope we will be talking about problems and solutions. Problems like, What do we do about the number of local youth struggling with addictions? What about bullying, homelessness, poverty, unforgiveness, abuse, and loneliness? At this year’s Gala of Hope we will be answering some of these questions, at least in part, as well as inviting those who attend to help us craft future responses. Our evening will be organized totally differently than in the past, with shorter presentations and opportunities for more interactions.
Our speaker this year is Tim Huff. Tim is a TEDx Talk veteran, author, advocate and educator. Tim is an exceptional story-teller with 35 years of experience to draw from. We’ve invited Chez Angela Bakery and Cafe to supply the desserts for the evening, and we are inviting you to join us and be part of an event that has helped YFC endure in Westman for the past 61 years.
Individual tickets are $25, or you can purchase 8 tickets (one full table) for $160. Please contact our office at 204-727-1251 or email email@example.com for tickets.
