2020 Golf Marathon

You are invited to participate in a unique opportunity to play 36 holes of golf on a first class course, and at the same time make a huge difference in the lives of young people!

The events of 2020 have had a significant impact in every corner of our community, revealing vulnerabilities and resource shortages for most youth. Loneliness and unhealthy relationships in homes and on our streets continue to magnify the needs of our youth struggling with addictions, mental health issues, homelessness, literacy deficits and more. This summer, perhaps more than ever before, what we do together on the golf course matters. We would like to invite you to golf with us–every swing on the course raises awareness and funds for an incredible mission.

 

The Details:

  • 36-hole Golf Marathon
  • Golf at Oak Island Resort and/or Carman Golf & Country Club
  • Dates are August 26th, 2020 (Oak Island) and September 20th, 2020 (Carmen)

 

Golf Package Options:

Option 1:
Pay & Play: $200
Oak Lake: Includes $100 registration fee and a $100 tax receipt.
Carman: Includes $130 registration fee and $70 tax receipt.
What you get: Lunch, Refreshments, Supper, 36 holes of golf and prizes.

Option 2:
Pay, Play & Raise: $200
Oak Lake: Includes $100 registration fee and a $100 tax receipt.
Carman: Includes $130 registration fee and $70 tax receipt.
What you get: As above.

What’s different: Raise the bar by collecting funds and raising awareness for a program or staff working with WYFC.

Fundraising Goals:
$750–Entered into the main prize draw.
$1000–Entered into the main prize draw plus an entry for a golf experience.
*details to be finalized and advertised before both events.
**Golfer will receive an additional entry for every additional $1000 raised.
