Stine started working for YFC in September 2017. She is leading Project Serve which is a ministry designed for youth in grades 9-12 who want to learn more about serving the community they live in, and the world at large. Project Serve’s vision is to “effectively and passionately serve God and others, both locally and globally”. Stine loves her job with Project Serve since it gives her the opportunity to help disciple young people and to facilitate for mission trips abroad. She is a teacher by profession, and she likes working with people and hearing their stories.
Stine is married to Russ, and in 2015 they moved from Norway to Manitoba with their three children, Miriam, Karina, and Nicholas. Russ is a farmer, and together they enjoy living on their new farm in Rivers. They have served with YWAM in Norway where Stine staffed and then directed Discipleship Training Schools (DTS). They also worked with Partners Relief and Development in Thailand for seven years helping refugees on the Thai-Burmese border. One of Stine’s passions is travelling, and even though flying is not her favourite thing she will gladly do it to reach a new destination and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
